This Fisher & Paykel 836848 water filter contains a compressed carbon block which provides the safest and most effective way to remove and/or reduce impurities and sediment which may be present in your drinking water. The carbon block in the filter has millions of active sites on its surface and within the structure, which absorbs impurities like a sponge; it can also absorb and hold other types of impurities on its surface like a magnet.
These processes ensure that you are getting the cleanest and best tasting water possible.
Changing the filter regularly (Fisher & Paykel recommends every 6 months) for your ice maker and water refrigerator will also ensure that the filter reduces the build-up of scale in your ice-making mechanism thereby reducing the need for costly services.
Better tasting and smelling water with improved clarity means a healthier lifestyle for you and your family.
The Fisher & Paykel refrigerator filter 836848 cartridge is tested and certified by NSF International to meet or exceed NSF/ANSI Standards 42 & 53.
